Kin, is a Singaporean family daily tv series, about the complexities of life, love and family relationships. May Wan applies for the Kwan-Shelley Foundation's funding grant, to Jessica's annoyance. Adina is finalising plans for Zaryf and Illya's wedding and leaves Rosnani out. Matthew warns Ella not to sabotage Ah Yoke and Dr Shen's relationship but it only drives Ella to be more subtle in her scheming.
Matthew suspects Ella may be behind the social media post of Ah Yoke and him. Derek tries to suss Ah Yoke out about her willingness to marry Dr Shen. Zaryf makes a startling confession to Rosnani
Jessica arm-twists Matthew into leaving Ah Yoke for good after photos of Ah Yoke and him in a compromising situation spread like wildfire over social media. More trouble for Matthew when Wilson and him fall out over his relationship with Fiona and Ah Yoke.

The KSUH board is thrown into disarray when James turns up at the meeting with a shocking proposal. Nathan and Crystal go on their first official date. Meanwhile, Handsome and Hannah’s friendship blossoms
Rickson is disappointed when Ah Hock refuses to visit Debbie in prison. James is incensed when he suspects that Eunice has been scheming to get him back to KSUH. Nina is encouraged when she gets more and more subscribers to her gaming stream.
Handsome is surprised when May Wan hires a helper to assist him at Boss Lady. James encourages May Wan to market her business as a social enterprise to gain better visibility. Ananya finds herself looking forward to working with Charles

James unexpectedly turns up at a Shelley family meeting and humiliates Eunice. Handsome's old school friends drop by at Boss Lady and he goes overboard trying to impress them. Nina tries her hand at streaming and is mocked by Nathan.
Ah Hock is interested in the GFPH renovation tender and tries to use his connections with the Shelleys to his advantage. Ella opens up to Dr Shen about her harrowing experience with a client. As part of a bonding session, Kenneth and Nina go shopping, but things go awry.
Zaryf gets a rude shock when Adina comes back from her trip with updates regarding his wedding. Jessica calls Matthew out for his futile obsession with Ah Yoke. In another attempt to tie James to KSUH, Eunice persuades Emily to get more involved in the company
Kenneth tries to find a way to bond with Nina. Ah Yoke and Ella appear to have resolved their differences. Zara finally finds someone in the family who believes Razali is tormenting her

Ella convinces Ah Yoke and Dr Shen to agree to a four-way arrangement that involves her dating Yang. In his bid to make Illya leave him, Zaryf deliberately bails on his date with her. At the Balas, Nathan starts being conscious of his appearance.
Dr Shen gives Ah Yoke a Valentine's Day surprise but it is one tinged with regret. Yang tries to get Ella back but he doesn't realise that Ella has failed to separate him from Dr Shen. Celia continues to worry about Louis' extended absence.
Ananya is worried that Nina is being ostracized by her classmates. Ella's latest client turns out to be more aggressive than she bargained for. Fiona calls Matthew again, and this time Matthew decides not to avoid her anymore.
Ella is running out of money but still refuses to accept help from others. Illya tells Rosnani about Zaryf's feelings for her. Ah Yoke finally meets Fiona and they talk at length.
Tension brews between Zaryf and Illya over Rosnani. Rickson finds Debbie in a bad shape and seeks May Wan's help to reach out to her. Eunice convinces James to let Emily continue working with Kenneth

Rosnani is tempted to start a new life with Louis until she finds out the truth from Jessica. Syirah decides she is not cut out to be a mother. Handsome is eager to learn the ropes of running Boss Lady and seems unintimidated by the challenges.
As Rosnani and Louis enjoy their vacation, Louis gets the idea to run away with her. Illya has grand plans to change things at the restaurant while Rosnani is away. Debbie tries to mend ties with May Wan, but to no avail

Debbie strives to make May Wan see Handsome's ability to run Boss Lady but Handsome has other plans. Zara's strain after losing her baby shows when she takes it out on Khaled. Matthew confronts Yang and Ah Yoke, threatening to reveal what he thinks about Dr Shen and Ella's relationship.

Louis confronts James for getting a business associate to endorse him on social media. Derek intervenes when he hears that May Wan is seriously considering selling Boss Lady Tau Huay. Razali brushes off Zara's complaints about not feeling well, resulting in dire consequences
May Wan's attempts to gauge Ah Hock and Ella's desire to take over the business ends on a bad note. Razali is furious when he learns that Zara has been using Adina's tablet and deleting the search history. Louis dismisses James' desire to help Ella and tells him to leave her alone.
The tension between the Bala siblings escalate when Nathan loses his temper with Nina. Celia confronts Derek over his machinations with Julius and Louis. Jessica tries to dig up information about Eunice and James' relationship that she can use to her advantage.

Celia is nervous about meeting Julius' mother for the first time. Illya realises the depth of Zaryf's feelings for Rosnani and makes a drastic decision. Ah Yoke is worried when Ella starts asking too many questions about Dr Shen.

When Maxine goes missing Emily accuses Ah Hock of trying to kidnap her. Jenny arranges for Zara to meet Razali's ex-girlfriend Karima, who shares how he abused her. Meanwhile, Dr Shen goes on a date with Ella.
Ah Yoke hopes to solve the Ella and Shen Yang conundrum by proposing a risky idea to Dr Shen. Jenny suspects Razali of being abusive and tries to get Zara to open up to her. Julius feel uneasy when he gets an expensive present from Celia.
Louis impresses everyone at the company's year-end party until Derek makes a surprise appearance that leaves Louis feeling low. Shen Yang shows up in place of Dr Shen and he has a confrontation with Jessica. Razali, meanwhile, thinks Zara still has feelings for Louis.

Celia is a bundle of nerves when Julius meets Derek for the first time. Rosnani decides it is time to take Khaled for professional counselling. Ah Yoke struggles to find a way to solve her problem with Ella and Dr Shen.
Matthew and Ah Yoke spend the day together while Shen Yang tries to tell Ella the truth. Meanwhile, Rickson thinks Ah Hock should be spending less time with Emily and Maxine and more time on their business.

Khaled gets a severe bee sting allergy under Syirah's care, causing further tensions between Rosnani and Adina. Nina tries to hide her haircut and skips class but is found out. Zaryf investigates how Zara could have left the hospital without a clear diagnosis.
Celia wants Derek to publicly endorse Louis as CEO at the KSUH year-end party. Zara gets defensive when told by Dr Maya that Razali is abusive. Nina is set up by Amethyst and get framed as the bully instead
Ella opens up to Matthew about how the Lohs are coping without Steven. Zara is admitted to hospital for chest pains. Ah Hock sabotages James' attempts to repair his relationship with Ella

On the eve of Derek's release from prison, Jessica receives some shocking news. Eunice goes on the warpath when she learns Ananya may make a return to the company. A chance meeting between Ella and Ah Yoke results in a surprising revelation for Ella
Ananya gets a surprise job offer that she thinks she knows who is behind it. Meanwhile, May Wan takes Derek's advice about expanding her business

Overwhelmed by the cyberbullying, Nina acts out when Kenneth gets tough on her. Syirah and Adina get into a row over Khaled. Celia decides to run against Jessica for the Orchid Ladies' Society presidency.
Jessica uses her clout to launch Mira's fashion line at Luxe. Razali demands Zara to cut off contact with Maisarah. Concerned that the Bala children are losing their roots, Mathilda takes it upon herself to ensure the family tradition is passed on.
Rosnani arranges for a girls' night out but Zara is nervous about going out without Razali. Ella confronts Dr Shen about the status of their relationship. Zaryf is concerned when Arissa runs into financial problems.

Ella helps Handsome come to terms with Steven's death, but it appears Ah Hock needs more help. Dr Shen finds out that Ella and Shen Yang have been seeing each other. Zara tries to challenge Razali about telling Adina what happened in Australia but she can’t get through to him.
The Lohs argue over Handsome's job and May Wan proposes he returns to work at Luxe. Celia feels insecure when Julius gets along really well with Maxine and that drives her to commit a desperate act. James is jolted when sees Ella kissing someone that looks like Dr Shen.
Tension between Zaryf and Rosnani intensifies over Khaled’s adoption. As part of his scheme to gain her trust, Charles deliberately winds Ananya up over a minor incident. Razali confesses to Adina and Zaryf that the root cause of his jealousy is because of Zara’s past infidelity in Australia.

Sparks fly between Ella and Shen Yang as they take a leap of faith together. As the issue of Khaled’s adoption drags on, Rosnani and Adina's relationship sours further. Illya and Zaryf face troubles as Zaryf's work takes priority over their relationship.
Nina faces trouble in class due to Amethyst's scheming. Zaryf tells Zara off after he senses tension between Rosnani and her. Matthew, meanwhile, continues to fret over Cindy's disappearance

Louis sees a chance to oust Eunice from the company while Eunice struggles to deal with the pressure brought on by her bribery attempt. Frederick’s abuse of Joseph reaches boiling point, prompting the latter to hand in his resignation. Ananya’s personal tutoring of Nikky goes into overdrive and it sends him into hiding
Eunice is hauled in for questioning by the police and almost cracks under pressure. Debbie and Ella have to quickly cover up when May Wan and Ah Hock ask them about their supposed sales jobs. Kenneth meets with the parents from Nina’s prospective school and one of them, a single mum, takes a shine to him.
Eunice's bribery attempt heaps more pressure on Matthew as he worries it will get her into trouble with the law. Kenneth overreacts to the possibility that Ananya is still not over James. May Wan gets suspicious when Debbie shows up unexpectedly to help out at Boss Lady.

After discovering that Zara had lied about Syirah's refusal to interview him, Razali hatches a plan to force the truth out of her. James gets Ah Hock to accompany Emily and Maxine to a kids' show. Adina takes the opportunity to guilt Zaryf when he comes clean about keeping Zaryn's letters from her.
Tension between Adina and Rosnani escalates as Rosnani stands by her plans to adopt Khaled. Louis is peeved when Julius undermines his authority on the first day at work. Zara lies to Kenneth about Razali getting another job offer after Adina objected to him working for Kwan-Shelley United Holdings.
Louis gives in to Celia's badgering and reluctantly gives Julius a job in the company. Zara asks Kenneth for a favour to get Razali an interview with Kwan-Shelley United Holdings. Adina is livid when she finds out about Rosnani's plans to adopt Khaled
Nina struggles with the loneliness of being back in Singapore without her friends. Syirah's appearance at the restaurant reawakens Adina's fear of losing Khaled.
Zara is nervous when Razali and his mother come over to Adina's for lunch. Zaryf continues to try to discourage Rosnani from visiting Zaryn in jail. Kenneth feels threatened when Syirah wants to bring in a different team to revitalise Fruitansia.

Ah Yoke tries to find ways to keep track of Shen Yang, but she knows it is futile. Ah Hock realises he needs James' help to network with big clients while Matthew is double-crossed by his informant.

James has a showdown with Eunice over the alleged affair between Derek and Ananya. Ah Yoke is nervous when she learns she has to finally meet Derek face-to-face. Deanna backtracks when her plan for Ananya and Thomas backfires
Kenneth worries that Deanna is going too far when she cooks up another plan for Ananya and Thomas. A concerned May Wan broaches the idea of Ella seeking help from a psychiatrist. Louis tries to clear the air with Derek over the rape allegations.
The finality of the divorce hits Zaryn when Rosnani remains cold to him. Louis cuts Ella off after she lets slip about Celia’s trichotillomania and past trauma. Deanna encourages Thomas to propose to Ananya.
Derek’s waking up from his coma continues to send nervosity and apprehension among the Shelleys. Zaryn falls out with Syirah after finding out that she has been running the department in her absentia behind his back. Meanwhile, James drops a bombshell on Eunice.
Ananya struggles with letting go of her obligations to Derek now that she is no longer a Shelley Holdings employee. Jessica remains territorial over Derek. Zaryn enjoys taking charge of the Corp Comms team now that Syirah is on maternity leave.
The Shelleys are concerned when Celia starts spreading news that Derek’s condition is deteriorating. Ella tries to convince Louis not to make a mistake that would have grave consequences for him. Rosnani finds it difficult to reject Jessica when Jessica keeps seeking her help for the café.
James opens up to Ah Yoke about his relationship with Ananya and Derek. The mother-daughter problems between Adina and Zara bring up memories of the relationship Deanna used to have with her own mother. Dr Shen confronts Matthew about his feelings for Ah Yoke.
Upset with Ah Yoke, Ella makes a scene at a Shelley charity luncheon. Keith starts to wonder if the company can actually function without Ananya. Zaryn, meantime, schemes to get closer to James.
Ella refuses to accept that Dr Shen might be dating Ah Yoke. Zaryf reluctantly goes along with Kenneth’s crazy idea. While tension between Ananya and James escalates at work.
Matthew distances him from Ah Yoke and Dr Shen after he finds out that they are dating. Kenneth suspects Zaryf of having a crush on Deanna. At Shelley Holdings, James and Ananya clash over doing business with a subsidiary that Derek highly values.
Kenneth struggles with the household chores and he gets some help from Zaryf. Rosnani lands a new job but Jessica gets her to do a favour for her café. Matthew investigates a new case involving a foreign worker.
Jessica arranges a private dinner for Ah Yoke and Dr Shen but things didn’t go as planned. Syirah decides to put in more effort to get along with Adina. Celia shuts down Louis' attempts to resolve her past with Ivan.
Adina has a big fight with Zara after thinking that Zara had spent the night away from home without her permission. Louis’ good intentions to help Celia attain closure from her assault backfires. Meanwhile, Zaryf announces his plans to move back with the Hassans.
Zara gets Adina to throw her an extravagant birthday party. Rosnani tries to persuade Zaryf to move back. Louis tracks down Celia’s alleged rapist while Jessica plans to match-make Ah Yoke with Dr Shen.
Ah Yoke tries hard to fix the bad impression she left on Albert Song. Zara finally sees Syirah’s true colours as Syirah and Zaryn break the news to the rest of the family about moving home. Louis enlists Ella’s help as he tries to get more information about Celia’s assault.
The Lohs continue to adjust to Steven's return. Adina's fatigue gets the better of her and she resolves to make healthy lifestyle changes. James brings Ah Yoke for an important business meeting, but Ah Yoke's emotions get the better of her.
Just when everything seems to be going against Ah Yoke, she gets some unexpected help. Zara is disappointed when she catches Syirah in yet another lie. Meanwhile, Zaryn continues to persuade Rosnani to let him proceed with the divorce in his favour.
Syirah is unhappy; there are still traces of Rosnani in her life. James decides to mentor Ah Yoke when he sees that she has potential. After a series of pranks, Kenneth knows the children are still not happy with him for leaving them.
The stories of the Lohs, Shellys, Balas, Hassams and their friends continue with old struggles and new relationships. Family dynamics and friendships in adversity are a common theme in this season.
